Material details
Step aside, industrial manufacturing.
Ceramics are made from earth. They’re imperfect, but that’s what makes them beautiful. Our clay pots are handmade by an artist in Gujarat. The result? One-of-a-kind pieces of art and a warmth in our spaces we’re craving.
Raw Terracotta is the ultimate neutral. It’s one of those materials that feels warm, familiar, and cozy. The colour is strong and pleasant but somehow soft and calming. Not an easy feat for one material – but some terracotta achieves that.
This is a diamond-cut that sculpturally accentuates and elevates the plant it houses. -
Care details
Although it looks rare and exotic, it's surprisingly easy to maintain.
It likes the sun or a shaded spot in a bright room as long as it gets a few weekend getaways in the sun.
It likes a drink roughly once a week – perhaps a bit more in the hot summer months and less in the monsoon and winter months. -
Plant details
Fun and non-spiky, the fishbone is not your average cactus. It thrives without full sun making it a nice option for cactus lovers that may not have the right light conditions to house desert cacti.
It is native to Mexico and can be found in the wild in tropical forests. The plant is not actually a cactus, but more closely related to the orchid family.
The Fishbone Cactus is an epiphyte, which means it grows on other plants or trees. It does not have roots of its own, but has aerial roots that it uses to attach itself to its host plant. The plant is also known as the Zigzag Cactus, because of the way its stems zigzag back and forth. The stems grow up to 3 feet long.
