Step aside, industrial manufacturing.
Ceramics are made from earth. They’re imperfect, but that’s what makes them beautiful. Our clay pebbles are handmade by an artist in Gujarat. The result? One-of-a-kind pieces of art and a warmth in our spaces we’re craving.
The rough white clay pebble has an irregular mouth (not a perfect circle) and bulges organically like it would in its natural form. -
Plants details (it's a duet)
Imagine a world without cactus. That's the world many people lived in until explorers to the New World began returning with unusual plant specimens unlike anything botanists of the time had seen. The first cactus seen in Europe was said to be a prickly pear specimen presented to Queen Isabella of Spain by Christopher Columbus. You'll encounter various prickly pear cactuses in many areas of the Americas, including many Caribbean islands as well as the Galapagos Islands.
The Mojave is a desert biome in northwestern Mexico which is characterized by its distinctive flora, including the various cacti that make up the genus Opuntia (Prickly Pear). This cactus grows in thick, sturdy, jointed segments—called pads—that are elliptical, flat and smooth-skinned except for the spines and glochids. You can't miss a prickly pear flower usually in bright shades of yellow, orange, pink, red or magenta. A flower gives rise to a large fleshy berry that may be green, yellow or purple depending on the species.
You might not think of cactus as a vegetable, but you can enjoy eating its fleshy stems that taste like a plate of green beats but with the texture of okra!
But what makes it Royale?
The Peperomia Cupid skirt. Heart-shaped leaves that have a fantastic fall and drape around the cactus with distinctive contrast.
Also native to tropical regions such as the Caribbean and Mexico, these plants cling to other large trees in the wild. Delicate as they look, these plants are mighty resilient . -
Care details
It likes a sunny spot. Outdoors it doesn't mind a slightly shaded situation. Indoors it would like to be next to a window with direct sun.
It likes its soil to dry out completely. It's from the desert. Water more in the hot, summer months, less in the monsoon and cooler seasons.
It's strong, independent and takes care of itself.
